With over 25 years of experience in hardware solutions and service delivery for retail and hospitality, Conor specializes in aligning global supply chains with innovative technologies to drive operational efficiency and customer success. As Managing Director at BOXTEC, Conor focuses on driving the company’s strategy, expanding its technology solutions portfolio, and reinforcing its leadership in retail and hospitality.
Fun Fact: Conor is fulfilling a lifelong dream by walking the Thames Path with his former rugby teammates this year.
Leanne Lewin
BOXTEC Head of Customer Operations
With over 20 years of experience in customer experience strategy, contracts management, and operational quality systems, Leanne specializes in aligning operational teams to deliver exceptional customer journeys. She has developed and managed systems for ISO9001, ISO45001, and UKAS ISO17025. As IRCA Lead Auditor (PCQI), Leanne drives continuous improvement. At BOXTEC, she leads customer operations and the Customer Assurance Programme (ISO QMS).
Fun Fact: Leanne is passionate about everything Italy: its food, culture and history.
Steve Powell
BOXTEC Sales & Marketing Director
With over 35 years of experience, Steve is passionate about fostering a culture of compassion and camaraderie in the workplace. As Sales & Marketing Director at BOXTEC, he focuses on strategic planning for growth, collaborating with teams to deliver reliable go-to-market activities. Steve balances his work with personal interests like football, golf and spending time with his wife and two grown up kids. Originally from Middlesbrough, he is a lifelong Boro fan.
Fun Fact: Steve enjoys cooking, drinking wine, and listening to music, sometimes all at the same time!
Trish Breen
BOXTEC HR Manager
With over 25 years in human resources, Trish has worked with leading UK retail names like Tesco and Liberty. A seasoned HR generalist, she thrives in recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, and shaping workplace culture. Her passion lies in connecting with people throughout their entire employee journey. At BOXTEC, Trish focuses on building strong HR foundations, supporting leadership, and fostering an inclusive, empowering work environment.
Fun Fact: Trish loves travelling, especially to Ibiza, where she visits every year (much to the amusement of her teenage children).
Leonard Gilbert-Wines
BOXTEC Technical Director
With over 20 years of experience in IT and technology, Leonard specializes in developing cutting-edge solutions and delivering transformative digital innovation for retail and hospitality. Leonard has partnered with global leaders like Intel and was a key contributor to the development of Ninja POS and the Core 7 POS. He was also part of the founding teams for Inefi Spotlight and Angible, and is the driving force behind BOXTEC’s new SCO range.
Fun Fact: Leonard loves tuning and maintaining his 1982 air-cooled VW Campervan, which takes his family on beach holidays, all while achieving a lofty 19MPG.
Eileen Young
BOXTEC Finance Manager
Eileen is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) with over 25 years in financial management and accounting. She has significant experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, including four years at a public accounting firm and two decades in corporate finance. At BOXTEC, Eileen oversees the finance department and supply chain operations, developing financial strategies that align with business goals while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Fun Fact: Before moving to the UK, Eileen spent weekends scuba diving along Taiwan’s northeast coast.
Devon Besford
BOXTEC Marketing Manager
Devon has over five years of experience in strategic marketing, specializing in brand development, digital marketing, and customer engagement. She has successfully led teams across both established corporations and fast-paced startups, delivering impactful marketing solutions. At BOXTEC, Devon plays a key role in developing and executing the company’s marketing strategy, working closely with leadership to align creative direction with business goals.
Fun Fact: Devon loves visiting Majorca, it’s her favourite getaway thanks to its many celiac-friendly spots!
