Box Technologies, one of the UK’s leading customer engagement technology specialists, has partnered with Epson to produce a unique Point of Service terminal with an integrated Epson TM-m30 receipt printer.

Designed to integrate with any Epson TM-m30 variant, the POS455 represents a culmination of the latest fanless Point of Service technology in a sleek, versatile form factor. The printer stand ensures a small overall footprint that maximises available counter space, powered by compact, industry-leading print technology from Epson.

This new product development builds upon a close partnership between Box Technologies and Epson, which has existed ever since Box Technologies inception in 1992.

“Central to our product design is selecting reliable, quality components that we know can fully withstand the rigours of demanding customer-facing environments.” says Ian Patterson, Sales Director at Box Technologies. “Our experience with Epson products over the years has proven their credibility with many of the high-street brands that we work with, so when it came to developing a printer stand for our new POS455 system, we knew that we wanted this to be powered by Epson.”

“The Epson TM-m30 stand adds another strong element to our POS455 solution, allowing us to deliver a very effective, space-saving product ideal for maximising counter space, which is an increasingly important consideration for retailers under pressure to re-invent the in-store experience they provide to customers.”

Commenting from Epson’s perspective, Brian Richards, Account Manager at Epson (UK) Ltd notes, “We’re delighted that Box Technologies have chosen the Epson TM-m30 printer to integrate into this unique terminal.  The TM-m30’s sleek and space-saving design means it’s one of the smallest stationary POS printers in the world, so it’s a natural fit to be part of such a flexible and technologically-advanced POS system.”
