Cath Kidston has gone live with a new point of sale system at its London flagship store, with a view to upgrading the PoS platform across its entire shop estate.

The retailer said it had started to experience increased failure rates with an outdated legacy till system, which was struggling to keep up with the volume of transactions at its busy outlet on Piccadilly.

To speed up customer service and accommodate the higher levels of footfall Cath Kidston chose to install the ‘All-in-One’ point of sale system from Box Technologies. The software has already been integrated with the retailer’s back-end systems, while the front-of-house hardware features a new touchscreen interface and aesthetics in keeping with the “modern vintage” lifestyle brand.
